Product description

Vassily Kandinsky, Autumn in Bavaria, 1908, Centre Pompidou, Paris

Vassily Kandinsky is a major Russian artist of the 20th century. He contributed to the emergence of abstraction in art. Thus, representing his inner world through painting was very important to him.
On a walk through the Bavarian countryside, the viewer's gaze is drawn to a typical Bavarian church with its white stone walls and orange roof. The path leading straight to the building is lined with trees whose dark green foliage is covered in gold, heralding a beautiful autumn. The orange roses and chrysanthemums in our flower arrangement will also brighten up your home. The ruscus branches around the flowers in our bouquet echo the colourful vegetation on the canvas. The painter's brushstrokes are more a reflection of his perception of the landscape than of reality. A cheerful impression emanates from this painting made on the spot. We sense the artist's playfulness with colour. The presence of blue thistles, pink lisianthus and purple carnations in the bouquet creates a colourful and lively rhythm, similar to that of Kandinsky's work. We are invited to enter the artist's world as we walk up this shady path.
This colourful bouquet will bring the same vitality to your living space as a walk in the open air. Our florists have been inspired by the energy of the painted landscape to create a bold and enthusiastic floral arrangement.

Aquarelle's artisan florists and the Ecole du Louvre have collaborated to create a capsule collection of flower bouquets inspired by the works of art of the master painters.
In the same way that a painter uses canvas, paint brushes and paints for their creation, our florists have conceived and composed the bouquets of the collection with a fresh floral colour palette.
They apply the same approach, using similar gestures to create a unique and personal creation.
The aim? To put art at the heart of the everyday, in order to discover or rediscover paintings through bouquets which translate the colours, style and spirit of the artwork.
